Possesing the Land

Shalom friends of Ayts Chayim,

It is with great joy and excitement that we present the vision of, “Possessing the Land” to you. We invite you to read about the journey God has taken us through and where He is leading us today.

Fifteen years ago God called our family to move to south Florida from Colorado, where we lived in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Only the Lord Himself could have taken us from there. When we started Ayts Chayim Messianic Synagogue in Boca Raton 14 years ago, we knew very few people. The Lord spoke to me in those early days that I was to minister to people, and He would build the ministry. I have tried by His grace to do my part, He has surely done His. The vision He gave us in the beginning is the same vision that we have today, to build a covenant community of believers, to raise and equip the next generation, and to extend the Kingdom of God in South Florida and elsewhere.

For us to further fulfill this vision to impact the Jewish community with the Good News of Yeshua’s Kingdom, we believe it is necessary to have a permanent home for Ayts Chayim. Recent demographic studies show that Boca Raton contains the highest density of Jewish people anywhere outside of Israel. Our vision is to build a Messianic Jewish Community Center that would be a home for our synagogue, and a discipleship training school, and a messianic day school.

The Apostle Paul said it this way: “For if their rejection (of Messiah) is the reconciliation of the world, what will their (the Jewish people) acceptance be but life from the dead” (Romans 11:15).
